Plus de 1 000 enfants des \u00e9coles primaires de Barentin et des communes avoisinantes ont particip\u00e9 \u00e0 la troisi\u00e8me \u00e9dition du tournoi des \u00e9coles du Hockey Club Barentinois<\/strong><\/strong> au stade Georges Badin. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Troisi\u00e8me sport collectif le plus pratiqu\u00e9 au monde derri\u00e8re le football et le cricket, le hockey-sur-gazon est pourtant une discipline encore trop m\u00e9connue en France. La F\u00e9d\u00e9ration Fran\u00e7aise de Hockey compte seulement 17 000 licenci\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pour encourager la pratique, le Hockey Club Barentinois<\/a><\/strong>, qui fait partie du top 20 fran\u00e7ais en salle et sur gazon, investit depuis plusieurs ann\u00e9es les cours de r\u00e9cr\u00e9ation des \u00e9coles de la commune. \u00ab Nous organisons des cycles au sein des \u00e9tablissements. J\u2019organise quatre s\u00e9ances puis les enseignants les reproduisent ensuite avec les enfants en toute autonomie. \u00bb<\/em> d\u00e9taille Armand Lecuyer, charg\u00e9 de d\u00e9veloppement du HCB et entra\u00eeneur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Des interventions appr\u00e9ci\u00e9es par la Ville, labellis\u00e9e Terre de Jeux 2024<\/a><\/strong> et qui encourage la pratique sportive chez ses habitants notamment ses plus jeunes. Pour Rodolphe Lemercier, adjoint au Maire en charge des sports, cette d\u00e9marche du HCB est \u00ab une aubaine pour faire conna\u00eetre ce sport assez spectaculaire mais \u00e9galement diversifier les activit\u00e9s physiques et sportives enseign\u00e9es et d\u00e9velopper le go\u00fbt du sport en club. \u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
