Ce lundi 26 juin, les \u00e9lus ont adopt\u00e9, \u00e0 l’unanimit\u00e9, une motion de soutien aux 103 salari\u00e9s de l’usine Tecumseh dont la fermeture est programm\u00e9e pour le 31 octobre prochain.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

L\u2019usine Tecumseh de Barentin, construite en 1956 et reprise par la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 des moteurs \u00e9lectriques de Normandie (SMEN), filiale du groupe am\u00e9ricain, est sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e dans la fabrication de moteurs \u00e9lectriques pour compresseurs frigorifique. Le 25 mai dernier, sa direction a annonc\u00e9 par visioconf\u00e9rence la fermeture d\u00e9finitive du site afin de d\u00e9localiser l\u2019activit\u00e9 en Asie laissant, \u00e0 compter du 31 octobre, les 103 salari\u00e9s sans emploi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
